Built to last 30+ years

Your driveway takes the heaviest load on the property and the worst of the Las Vegas sun. Vehicles, delivery trucks, 110-degree afternoons, and shifting desert soil all push on it daily. A concrete driveway poured the right way handles all of it without rutting or cracking apart.

The difference is what happens under the surface. We grade and compact the base, set the right thickness for the loads you actually drive, and tie in rebar or wire mesh before a single yard of concrete is placed. Cut control joints land where they belong so the slab cracks on the line and not across your parking pad. That is how a driveway stays flat and tight for decades instead of years.

  • Compacted base and proper slab thickness for vehicle loads
  • Rebar or wire mesh reinforcement throughout
  • Control joints placed to direct any cracking
  • Broom, smooth, stamped, or colored finishes

What does a concrete driveway cost in Las Vegas?

Driveway costs vary based on size, existing slab removal, and your chosen finish. Here are the typical ranges for the Las Vegas Valley. A free on-site estimate is the only way to get an exact number for your specific project.

Standard broom-finish driveway

A properly built broom-finish concrete driveway typically runs $10 to $15 per square foot installed. That covers a compacted base, rebar, a finished surface, and cut control joints.

Stamped or colored driveway

Decorative finishes start around $13 to $20+ per square foot due to the additional labor, color hardeners, and stamping materials. Premium patterns and multiple color tones move toward the higher end.

What moves the price

Total square footage, tear-out of an old slab, base rock requirements for your soil, and your finish choice all affect cost. We give you a clear, itemized quote before any work starts, with no surprises at the end.

Finishes and options

Concrete driveway options we pour

Standard broom-finish driveways

The workhorse choice. A clean, textured broom finish that grips tires, hides minor wear, and gives you a durable surface at a sensible price.

Stamped concrete driveways

Patterns and textures that read like brick, stone, or slate at a fraction of the cost of pavers, with none of the weeds and shifting that come with them.

Colored and stained driveways

Integral color for a consistent shade through the whole slab, or acid stains and dyes for richer tones that tie the driveway to your home.

Exposed aggregate

A washed finish that brings the natural stone in the mix to the surface for grip and a textured, upscale look that hides dirt well.

Driveway widening and extensions

Extra parking pads, RV slabs, and side extensions matched to your existing concrete so the addition blends in instead of standing out.

Tear-out and replacement

Cracked, heaved, or stained slabs removed and re-poured on a fresh, properly prepared base for a driveway that performs like new.

Why Centurion

A driveway that holds up to desert heat

Most driveway failures trace back to a weak base or a slab poured too thin. We never cut corners under the surface. Solid compaction, correct thickness, steel reinforcement, and proper drainage are what keep a driveway from cracking, sinking, or pooling water once the ground starts to move.

How it works

Our concrete driveway installation process

1. Site inspection and layout

We walk the property, check drainage patterns, measure the area, and talk through your finish and budget. If an old slab needs to come out, we assess the base underneath before setting a price.

2. Demo and excavation

Old concrete is broken up and hauled off-site. We excavate to the correct depth for your soil type and the slab thickness the load requires, leaving a clean, stable base to build from.

3. Base preparation and grading

We compact the subgrade, bring in road base where the soil needs support, and set the grade so water drains away from the garage and property lines instead of pooling on the slab.

4. Forms, rebar, and reinforcement

Wood or steel forms define the edges. Rebar or wire mesh is set on chairs in the middle of the planned slab depth, not on the ground, so the steel actually carries load when the concrete cures.

5. Pour, finish, and texture

Ready-mix concrete is placed, screeded level, and finished to your spec. Broom, smooth, stamped, or colored finishes all happen in the narrow window before the surface sets.

6. Control joints, curing, and seal

We cut control joints the same day or next day to guide where the slab moves. After a proper cure period, a penetrating sealer goes on to resist UV, oil, and moisture. We flag the driveway so no one drives on it too early.

Concrete driveway FAQ

How does Las Vegas heat affect a concrete driveway?

Extreme heat makes concrete expand, and cooler nights make it contract, which is why a driveway needs proper control joints and a mix built for our climate. We use heat-tolerant mixes, place expansion and control joints correctly, and seal the surface so the slab moves without random cracking. Done right, a driveway shrugs off Las Vegas summers for decades.

How long does it take to install a concrete driveway?

Most residential driveways take a few days from tear-out to final finish, depending on size and any prep work. The concrete can be walked on within a day or two, but we recommend keeping vehicles off for about a week so the slab reaches enough strength to carry their weight without marking.

What maintenance does a concrete driveway need?

Very little. Rinse off dirt and oil, fill any hairline cracks early before they spread, and reseal every few years to protect against UV and stains. Keeping drainage paths clear so water does not pond on the slab goes a long way toward a driveway that lasts.

Can you match my driveway to my home?

Yes. Beyond a standard gray broom finish we offer integral color, acid stains, dyes, exposed aggregate, and stamped patterns that mimic stone or brick. We will walk you through finishes that fit your home's look and your budget before we pour.

Do you offer a warranty on driveway work?

We stand behind every driveway we pour under The Centurion Standard: on time, on budget, built to last in the Las Vegas heat. If something is not right, we come back and make it right. During your free estimate we will explain exactly how that works in plain language with no surprises.

How much does a concrete driveway cost in Las Vegas?

A standard broom-finish driveway typically runs $10 to $15 per square foot installed. Stamped or decorative finishes start around $13 to $20 or more per square foot. Your exact cost depends on the total area, whether we are removing an existing slab, the base prep your soil requires, and your finish choice. Book a free on-site estimate for a number you can actually build a budget around.

Do I need a permit to pour a new driveway in Las Vegas?

Permit requirements vary by jurisdiction and scope. Replacing a driveway in the same footprint often does not require a permit, but adding a new approach, expanding into the right-of-way, or altering a curb cut typically does. Our crew knows the Clark County and City of Las Vegas rules and will tell you upfront what your project needs. For a full overview, see our concrete permit guide for Las Vegas.

What concrete mix do you use in Las Vegas heat?

We spec mixes with a water-to-cement ratio tuned for the temperature and humidity on pour day, and we schedule summer pours for early morning to avoid peak heat. Curing methods matter as much as the mix itself: wet burlap, curing compounds, or shading slow moisture loss so the slab gains full strength without surface scaling or cracking.

How long should I keep vehicles off a new concrete driveway?

We recommend at least seven days before passenger cars park on a new slab. Heavier trucks and SUVs should wait closer to ten to fourteen days. The concrete keeps gaining strength well past that point, so the more time you give it the better. We mark the driveway and note the earliest drive date so there is no guesswork.
